An interesting look at an often uninvestigated byproduct of homosexual marriage-homosexual divorce. Yes, despite the overwhelmingly loving family gay households creat, sometimes-like in heterosexual marriages-the union [if I can call gay marriage by that term] does not work.

The Chant Not Heard
A great piece by Tom Friedman in today's NYTimes...instead of just Bush-bashing, how bout putting forth some ideas of your own? It's always easy to put down the other side; it's another to come up with a rival plan. Maybe someone else can come up with a 'better' plan and perhaps the 'neocon cabal' in the West Wing would be willing to include portions in their own plans.
Let's wait and see.

Saudis Under Scrutiny

It's so good to be back after a three week hiatus. I'll try to post at least once or twice a day for the next month-until I leave to Israel.

Also, according to the Wash Post,
the FBI, in an unprecedented move that has strained relations with a close ally in the war on terrorism, has subpoenaed records for dozens of bank accounts belonging to the Saudi Embassy, part of an investigation into whether any of the hundreds of millions of dollars Riyadh spends in the United States each year end up in the hands of Muslim extremists, U.S. and Saudi officials said.
The Saudis? Never! They're our parteners in the War on Terror, aren't they? After all, didn't you see the insert they paid for in the current issue of Foreign Affairs? What a shameless PR plug. As if people reading such a publication don't know the truth? I'm terribly confused as to why they spent so much money on that-glossy and colorful pages!-but it's their money, what do I care?

Just found this piece regarding Gen. Wesley Clark on Town Hall blog while doing research and felt I had to post it:

"...Congress later investigated the bombing and we found the reason that happened [the reason the Chinese Embassy in Serbia was bombed during non-UN-sanctioned NATO action] is because General Wesley Clark, the commander of NATO, was demanding targets: 'I need more targets. I'm running out of targets.'

"And under the pressure of those demands from that commanding general, the CIA came up with targets, and they came up with an old target with bad information, under the pressure from a commander who was anxious to keep bombing even though he had run out of legitimate targets."

hmmmm...would you say he got his faulty intel from the same source he claims our president got his prior to Gulf War II?
