This means war
In the last few days many blogs I read have been plagued with anonymous comments advertising products or websites. This is the equivalent of spam in your email inbox except its worse because it takes a few more clicks to delete it and distracts your train of thought as you make your way through a comment thread.

For now I'll just delete them manually but notice is hereby posted that if this keeps up I'm going to ban anonymous comments.
Who's with me?

I'm behind you. Unfortunately, some of the spam doesn't come anonymously but from fake accounts. Nevertheless, anything to discourage them (that doesn't amount to cutting off your head to cure your headache) is a good step.
