Weiner wants Jewish gelt
In my mailbox today was a fundraising letter clearly targeted to the NYC Jewish community from NYC mayoral candidate, Anthony Weiner. (I'm guessing he got the list from his friend, David Cedar.) Just below the letterhead it says "One of the ways we show our patriotism for America is to proudly declare, 'Am Yisrael Chai'." Really? I never knew that. I thought we say "G-d bless America." Perhaps that's why he supports Pollard so much...
Anyway, he boasts about his work in Congress, where he won over $1.3M in grants for HASC, and almost $1M for Ohel, both organizations I've proudly worked for. He also lists a host of other accomplishments and provides a NYSun article on his activism relating to the Columbia U. scandal a few months back. While I still support Bloomberg, at least Weiner's campaign isn't giving the media already-written articles to publish about the congressman's recent events like the mayor did.

...you'll never meet a politician that won't It's part of their internal pr. Some newspapers will print verbatim, some will just use it as a resource.
